Our trainee programmes offer an entry into professional life that specifically prepares graduates of technical and business courses to take on specialist and management tasks. As a trainee you will get to know different areas of WAREMA in 18 to 24 months. The focus is on practical experience: you will complete a thorough and individually tailored "training on the job", which includes the essential tasks of your future area of responsibility.
You will work for two to six months in different fields of application. In each of these phases we will assign you challenging tasks and projects from the respective area - and provide you with intensive support. At regular feedback meetings with the supervising managers, we will reflect together on the stages you have completed and your professional progress. On this basis we determine the next steps together.
Our customers are qualified specialists - from craftsmen to general contractors. We serve these customers from our headquarters in Marktheidenfeld and through a dense network of locations and subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. WAREMA produces custom-made products depending on the order, both for residential buildings and for public and commercial buildings. The spectrum of our customers is therefore broadly diversified.
Possible tasks and projects for trainees in Technical Sales: collaborating in Internal Sales of a sales location, supporting a Project Site Supervisor, being assigned as a Sales Manager, supporting a Product Manager during the market launch of a new product, preparing customer events and trade fairs in marketing, collaborating in the establishment of a new location abroad, preparing competitive comparisons.
Our products are unique and high quality products, and they are custom-made depending on the order. As far as production is concerned, this means that we have a high degree of production depth and manufacture a wide variety of components ourselves.
Possible tasks and projects for trainees in the area of Production: improving existing production processes; optimising existing interfaces between individual areas; selecting, purchasing and integrating new production machines; introducing new products into the production process; assuming responsibility for personnel and results for production groups.
Supply chain management is a decisive factor for manufacturing companies. The logistical challenges range from the procurement of raw materials to internal transport and dispatch to the customer. The fact that we manufacture our products individually and custom-made depending on the order makes things even more complex.
Possible tasks and projects for trainees in the area of Logistics: sourcing and selecting new suppliers; preparing, implementing and concluding contract negotiations with suppliers; assessing and further developing existing suppliers; optimising interfaces between purchasing, warehouse and dispatch; analysing and improving existing logistics processes; adapting shipping logistics to changing legal requirements.
The demand for sun shading products is increasing. Climate change and the trend towards greater energy efficiency are just two phenomena that have a direct impact on the sun shading sector. In order to always keep our products at the cutting edge of technology and to optimise both their characteristics and their function, we are consistently further developing them.
Possible tasks and projects for trainees in the area of Development: further developing existing products in a constructive manner; developing and designing new products; planning, executing and evaluating trials and tests; introducing new products into production; executing and evaluating patent research.
The stages of your training are determined individually. In the first phase, which lasts about four weeks, we will introduce you to our complete product range and introduce you to the departments and contacts relevant to your area of study.
You will then be given assignments in various specialist areas, each lasting two to six months. Which these are depends on your area of study and your preferences. In any case, you will take on challenging tasks in the day-to-day and/or project business and will be intensively supported by us. In regular status meetings with the supervising managers, you will reflect on the phases you have completed and on your professional progress and determine the next steps together with us.
The start date of your WAREMA trainee programme is just as personalised as the rest of the procedure - basically any starting date is possible. The duration of the programme depends on your personal development, but is a maximum of 24 months.
However, the long-term perspective at WAREMA is the same for all trainees: we would like you to become a permanent employee in our company! For this reason, you will receive a permanent contract upon starting your traineeship.
