Warema's Lamaxa slat roof is the best way to create additional outdoor living space. Lamaxa offers total flexibility to select your favourite spot, unique light guidance options and superb weather resistance, making it the ideal and elegant solution for fans of outdoor living. Warema has enhanced the system in many ways, expanding the range of functions and design options for increased comfort in the shade of a slat roof.
Additional pole: step inside
Lamaxa is a state-of-the-art sun shading system that does far more than just provide shade. For example, integrated awnings with easyZIP guidance on the sides can turn it into a cosy room in the middle of the outdoors. Once inside, users enjoy complete privacy and are reliably protected from wind and rain. By integrating an additional pole, one side – the long side, for instance – can be divided again to create a doorway. This makes it possible to continue shading the divided side without having to raise the integrated awning with easyZIP guidance when somebody wants to leave or enter. The doorway can also be closed with an awning with easyZIP guidance to protect the space under the slat roof from cold air, wind and rain.
Series-mounted unit: two become one
The Lamaxa slat roof has a modern design and virtually unlimited flexibility, providing various options for outdoor catering. This is useful not only for people wanting to use their private patios, but also for restaurants with outdoor areas and similar open spaces. Two slat roofs can be installed as a series-mounted unit, providing shade and weather protection for a larger space while maintaining a stylish look. Instead of two roofs placed next to each other as before, they are now elegantly connected by the central pole. This doubles the construction limit values from 6 x 4.5 metres per roof to a total area of 54 square metres. The design is also slimmer than with central double poles and less room is required for the foundation. The slats of the two roofs are controlled via separate drives to ensure versatility and individual use. Warema offers series-mounted units for both Lamaxa L60 and L70.
Sash frames: in your own four walls
Sash frames enhance a slat roof's appeal considerably. There are three variants to choose from, each creating a different ambiance. Sliding wooden shutters give the construction a natural look and glass elements convey transparent elegance, while aluminium sliding shutters allow users to personalise their space by matching them to the Warema colours chosen. Accessories are ordered directly from Warema together with the Lamaxa slat roof, optimising the order process and minimising effort for specialised retailers. This service simplifies the whole process; no additional measurements are required for the sash frames.
RGB lighting: the right colour for every mood
Colours reflect emotions and people feel particularly at ease when they can adjust their ambient light to match the way they feel. The new RGB lighting for Lamaxa allows users to choose from the complete colour spectrum. Indirect lighting in the crossbeam creates a pleasant ambience that can be easily adjusted via a hand-held transmitter or the Philips Hue app. Anyone already using the homee smart home system can also change the light colour via the homee app.
Wear-resistant gauze: keeping insects out
Other innovations include the easyZIP awning with wear-resistant gauze. It combines a perfect view with particular stability, keeps insects out and also acts as a wind breaker. As the name suggests, the wear-resistant and robust fabric can even withstand accidental collision with a dog or cat.
Lamaxa Free: floating without poles
Lamaxa L60 and L70 are now available as Lamaxa Free variants for installation in existing structures such as concrete rings. The slat roof is installed in the reveal or surface-mounted without poles. This enables optimal use of projections with concrete rings thanks to Lamaxa’s state-of-the-art shading and weather protection. Warema is therefore expanding its Lamaxa range to accommodate further installation situations.
