Warema is expanding the functionality and aesthetics of its sun shading solutions for windows and facades by optimising a large number of its products. This brings great advantages for specialised retailers, as installation is much easier and faster than before. Users also benefit from these numerous advancements, which increase comfort and convenience.
Shaft roller shutters
Thanks to their high degree of pre-assembly, Warema’s new shaft roller shutters are faster and easier to install, making them suitable for qualified, but less experienced, technicians – a clear advantage when skilled workers are in short supply. The push-fit system is suitable for all common shaft sizes and can be installed in one go without the need for adjustments such as cutting the shaft before on-site installation. This also means seamless workflows and a simplified order process – with no need to order individual parts, details of the box or installation situation are no longer required. With this new element, Warema is now offering a comparable solution for installing shafts for roller shutters, window awnings and external venetian blinds.
Reinforced NA-RO box
Warema's top-mounted roller shutters for new buildings (NA-RO) have been optimised further. A new basket with a lattice structure doubles torsional stiffness, as proven by extensive testing. This facilitates both handling and installation, particularly for wide construction sizes. Made from durable polystyrene, the box offers good sound insulation and its special honeycomb structure ensures optimum plaster adhesion. The reinforced NA-RO box is now the standard for all box sizes and types.
Sound-optimised box for top-mounted external venetian blinds for new buildings
As increased traffic leads to increased noise, sound insulation is gaining in importance for urban construction projects. Warema’s sound-optimised box for top-mounted external venetian blinds for new buildings guarantees significant improvements in noise insulation. The new box construction with its innovative, patent-pending insulation noticeably reduces external noise levels. This solution – which is to become standard in the future – meets increased sound insulation requirements and enables users to relax at home and work in peace. The sound-optimised box has been nominated for the R+T Innovation Prize 2021.
Black-out systems with easyZIP
Warema is converting its black-out systems to easyZIP. Operational safety is increased through the use of clip profiles, which can also be used with the external window awning range. This also makes installation much faster. The new, low end rail is slimmer and can also be used at low installation heights. Black-out systems can be used in laboratories, lecture halls, conference rooms and even in private home cinemas, for example. The new technology is suitable for all of these areas, preventing annoying light gaps and ensuring that the fabric is evenly taut.
New design solutions for front-mounted awnings and new colours for Soltis fabric
Warema is now offering even more installation options for its front-mounted awnings. The variants with rails, cords or markisolettes can now also be coupled, and a new double guide rail provides an attractive solution when the fabric does not cover the entire width of a space. A 25-mm-high inspection cover enhances the aesthetics, enabling both a flush end rail and easy integration of the plug-in connector in the box. Even sloped or vertically sloped facades are no longer a problem for front-mounted awnings with rail guidance. Another new option is Soltis Veozip, which offers an additional fabric feature for all window awnings with easyZIP guidance. Moreover, the Soltis 92 collection is now available in trendy colours, with options to suit every customer.
