Warema's Inside portfolio will focus exclusively on commercial buildings as of 2021. The sun shading expert is expanding its existing collection for commercial buildings to include new colour charts and fabric qualities, harnessing its expertise even further and fulfilling the wishes of its discerning customers.
In the non-residential sector, customers often have specific requirements that demand high-grade, tailored solutions. The new themed colour charts and fabric qualities in Warema’s commercial building collection enable specialised retailers and architects to act even more flexibly and use the collection folder during consultations to meet individual requirements. Charts focusing on colour variety and dim-out will be introduced in 2021 and a new fabric property will be added to the 'acoustics' colour chart. With these new features, Warema is expanding its existing range of themed colour charts dedicated to light management and glare control, sustainability, protection against heat loss, preventive fire protection, the medical sector, and SeaTex, which is made of up to 50 percent recycled ocean plastic. Warema’s solutions for fire protection and the medical sector include the non-flammable SecuTex A2 fabric – which is both environmentally safe and meets the highest safety standards – as well as antimicrobial fabrics that inhibit harmful organisms.
Large colour selection for commercial buildings
The coloured fabrics will significantly expand Warema's commercial building collection. Until now, it included a variety of white, grey and black fabrics; coloured fabrics were available via the specialist retail collection. Warema is now offering a wide variety of coloured fabrics in its commercial building collection; these are a popular choice for nurseries and doctors' offices, among others. Five different surface qualities will be available in 45 different colours. Two of the surface qualities are B1 certified, i.e. flame-retardant, making them particularly suitable for public tenders. The fabrics are also available in three different degrees of transparency.
Comprehensive product range for dim-out
Dim-out or blackout fabrics are also becoming more and more important as conference rooms are increasingly used for video calls and presentations. B1 certification is often required here as well. Warema’s new colour chart now offers an even broader selection of suitable fabrics. Three different fabric qualities are available in nine different shades of white, grey and black; they are all flame-retardant. Warema offers these with various blackout coatings, which ensure the same colour on both the inside and outside of the fabric.
Design-oriented quality with high sound absorption
The new acoustic fabric quality, which offers high sound absorption, opens up new possibilities when furnishing lecture halls, schools and even conference rooms. Thanks to a special weaving technique, this new feature yields a natural look and is available in six muted colours. All previous fabric qualities will remain part of the colour chart.
By overhauling its commercial building collection, Warema is strategically realigning its Inside portfolio towards non-residential buildings and providing its partners with additional selling points and options when consulting with customers.
