A special room in the middle of the garden that is perfect for relaxing outdoors – many customers have expressed this wish, and it can now come true with the new Lamaxa slatted roofs by Warema. They can be installed anywhere outdoors, where their attractive design will instantly become a natural part of the landscape and architecture. Whether a targeted sun shading control system thanks to movable slats or safe protection against the rain when closed, the flexible functions of Lamaxa guarantee well-being.
For Warema, the launch of the slatted roofs Lamaxa L60 and L70 is a big step in the expansion of its portfolio. The option of free-standing installation facilitates the flexible design of a new favourite outdoor spot – either on grass or up against the house. Outdoor shading using slats achieves an entirely different light management and climate from that achieved when shading with fabric. People are able to enjoy the sun's rays in their additional living room just as much as is good for them.
Slat alignment to
the position of the sun
The special feature of Lamaxa lies in the individual control of the slats, which gradually changes the incidence of sunlight. They are positioned by remote control just as desired or, in the case of the L70, extended and retracted so that the roof opens completely.
Lamaxa products are weatherproof, which means the spot under the slatted roof can be enjoyed almost all year round. The slats reliably allow water to run off so rain is unable to penetrate. As an additional feature, Warema also offers vertical window awnings with ZIP guidance that run along the poles with no irritating light gap. This also prevents the sun, wind and rain from penetrating at the sides. Instead of the ZIP awnings, or in combination with the same, glass sliding elements can also be integrated to further increase weatherproofness. LED light rails in the horizontal and vertical ranges increase a pleasant direct and indirect light that can be adjusted to suit the prevailing mood. And radiant heaters can be used to create a pleasant feel-good climate under the roof when darkness falls and later in the year. The various functions are easy to control remotely using the Warema Mobile System (WMS). As the electronics are already integrated, there is a high level of ease of installation that facilitates the retrofitting of various elements.
The slatted roofs can shade an area of up to 27 square metres. For Warema, it goes without saying that the looks can be designed to suit the architecture of the home. The company therefore offers a wide range of colours for the powder coating. Frames and slats can also be coated in different colours to create an individual, matching design.
