Modern customers have high expectations of their sun shading: the technology must be state-of-the-art, and it should leave nothing to be desired in looks either. With its new integrated solutions, Warema offers sun shading products with practical additional functions that are integrated directly in the product. The thinking behind our current innovations is: put an end to the cable spaghetti.
control for Terrea awnings
Those who wish to control their Terrea patio awnings with the Warema Mobile System (WMS for short) have often had to make do with solutions with visible lines and connections. But now Warema has put an end to all that. From now on, the WMS components will be fitted at the factory. Thus Warema defines the quality claim, and it has nothing to do with the installation situation or the fitter. Depending on the type of awning, the control is integrated either directly in the bearing tube, or else it is hidden away inside the shaft housing. Not only does this look good, but it also makes installation on-site much quicker and easier.
Depending on the customer's requirements, the integrated control may consist of different components. There is no longer any requirement for external control elements.
WMS sensor system
Warema Climara conservatory and Perea pergola awnings with the secudrive® guide system offer reliable sun shading even in stronger winds. However, to prevent damage from strong gusts and storms, in the past it was advisable to connect the control to an external weather station. This is now obsolete, because the new WMS sensor system for wind detection is directly integrated on the guide rail of secudrive® systems at the factory. Your wind sensor detects the forces that are applied to the awning. Consequently, the awning will be retracted if the stored limit is exceeded. As well as the wind, the sensor also measures brightness and precipitation. If desired, this data can also be passed on to other curtains such as external blinds and roller shutters and compared with the limits stored there so they can also be automatically controlled by the WMS sensor system.
roller blind for secudrive® systems
Gone are the days when valance roller blinds had to be operated by hand. Warema secudrive® systems such as the pergola awning Perea P40 and the conservatory awning W10 now have a battery-operated motor for the valance roller blind. It is easily driven by WMS, and can be operated in any awning position. The battery motor charges automatically via charging contacts as soon as the awning retracts. So the valance roller blind can still be operated in wind even when the charge is low, the control is designed so that a final retraction of the vertical shading is always possible.
